7m视频 and Texas Children鈥檚 Hospital will host three webinars in collaboration with the Texas Center for Disability Studies at University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Department of State Health Services to educate the public on genetic developmental disorders. Two webinars will be hosted in English, and one will be hosted in Spanish. The events are:

鈥    Saturday, March 27, 10-11 a.m. 鈥 鈥淪ize Matters: How Missing or Extra Pieces of DNA can Affect Children鈥: This webinar in English will focus on 22q11 deletion syndrome, Williams syndrome and 16p11.2 duplication and deletion syndromes. In addition, panelists will discuss the best ways to support children with these syndromes. Speakers for this event are Dr. Chaya Murali, assistant professor of molecular and human genetics at Baylor, and , program manager of the UT Texas Center for Disability Studies. 鈥    Saturday, April 24, 10-11 a.m. 鈥 鈥淔ragile X: A Conversation鈥: This webinar in English will focus on the genetics and care of children and families with Fragile X Syndrome. Speakers for this event are Dr. Daryl Scott, associate professor of molecular and human genetics at Baylor, and Laura Buckner. Register for the event .
