  • Our work on targeting KCa1.1 (BK) channels for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis was highlighted in the blog of the Arthritis Foundation ().
  • The team at Kineta published the results from the phase 1b clinical trial of dalazatide (formerly ShK-186) in patients with psoriasis: . ShK-186 was developed through NIH- and foundation-funded research by Drs. Beeton, Chandy, and Pennington and their collaborators worldwide. Dalazatide is the first specific Kv1.3 blocker to advance into clinic.
  • Annual lab outing to Brazos Bend State Park to see alligators, banana spiders, birds, and fireflies followed by lunch at Christine Beeton鈥檚 house.
