Baylor, Chinese developers to create medical center

7m视频 welcomed a delegation from China to discuss the introduction of advanced medical technology and management concepts to the Greenland Holdings Group. It is the first step by the company to create a world-class medical center in Shanghai.

The delegation was led by Mr. Zhang Yuliang, chairman and president of Greenland Holdings Group, a real estate development company. The group is joining 鈥淗ealthy China 2030,鈥 an initiative to optimize the country鈥檚 health service system, accelerate the development of healthcare human resources, promote scientific and technological innovation in the healthcare sector, and expand healthcare international exchanges and collaborations. To do this, they plan to create the Greenland Global Medical Science and Technology Center.

Senior executives of 7m视频 met with the delegation to discuss the current state of the China-U.S. medical industry and fields. The two groups have entered an agreement, a memorandum of understanding (MOU), to work together to explore an effective development path for the creation of the center.

Baylor Global Health Group has experience in global collaborations and will work with Greenland Holdings Group as it plans operational development and creates a strategic plan that includes healthcare, health insurance, smart technology, travel care, elder care and big-data driven business, management and technology innovation.

Mr. Wayne Keathley, president of Baylor Global Health Group, said that this relationship advances the College鈥檚 vision to project Baylor鈥檚 contributions to academic medicine and clinical innovation globally. It provides an opportunity to leverage Baylor鈥檚 leadership in medical education, discovery and clinical research and clinical care to advance health sciences globally.
