Tons of learning takes place on rounds and one-on-one but that is never enough.

The neurology lecture series consists of mandatory daily noon conferences at a central location, allowing the opportunity to sit down, eat, and learn cutting edge neurology. Since COVID, these conferences have transferred to a virtual format.

  • Neurology Department Grand Rounds takes place every Monday.
  • Pediatric Neurology Grand Rounds occurs every Wednesday.
  • There are weekly Tuesday and Thursday neurology noon lectures on rotating topics in neurology such that all areas of neurology are covered over the year period.
  • Friday is a two-hour block of more interactive lectures including neuroradiology, neuropathology, Case of the Week, journal clubs, movement disorders video rounds and M&M.

There are additional didactics associated with particular rotations or subspecialty conferences that the residents also can attend.
