Grand Rounds and Faculty Meetings

A departmental Grand Rounds session is scheduled on the second Tuesday of every month, except for July, October, January, and April due to department faculty meetings. Each session is held virtually via Zoom and learners receive one hour of CME credit for participation.

Annual Primary Care Update

Content

The Primary Care Update is a one-day event providing evidence-based advice in a non-commercial setting. The conference offers 7.0 AMA Category 1 CME credits from the American Academy of Family Physicians. Also, 1.0 Ethics credit is provided.

The AAFP has reviewed Primary Care Update 2024 and deemed it acceptable for up to 7.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 10/26/2024 to 10/26/2024. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)â„¢ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Trainings

Content

The Collaborative for Alcohol-Free Pregnancy and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers a free, online continuing education courses on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. The courses target practitioners in primary care, integrated care, school and university clinics, and other clinical settings.
